We’re currently looking for a consultant to join the team, with level to be determined by experience and interview performance. We’re less concerned about a specific background and more concerned about a demonstrated ability for analytical thinking, structured problem solving, verbal communication, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Quickly research and become conversant in a variety of industries and operational contexts.
Closely collaborate with internal teammates at ZENDA’s New York office and external stakeholders at client sites, collectively driving toward a common goal.
Manage stakeholder expectations through clear written and oral communication channels.
Develop hypotheses and design engagement plans to test those hypotheses.
Conduct in-depth interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts, demonstrating sensitivity both to stakeholders and engagement needs.
Perform desk research on industry standards and competitive landscapes.
Synthesize information across various channels to develop a well-founded point of view on pressing client concerns.
Build business cases using Excel or statistical packages.
Design and develop slides that clearly communicate complex information.
Present slides to stakeholders clearly, comfortably, and with demonstrable command of the subject matter.
Negotiate tight timelines with close attention to detail, accuracy, and the perspectives of teammates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of applicable professional experience; Master’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable professional experience; or PhD and at least 1 year of applicable professional experience.
Demonstrated professional experience in most areas of responsibility.
Ability to work on-site 4 days per week at ZENDA’s New York office and travel to client sites.
