SENIOR DELIVERY MANAGER

Full time position

Zenda Delivery Managers ensure projects are completed on time and on budget and within the agreed scope. They understand the goal of each project is to exceed client expectations, can manage shifts in projects, and can strategically identify new opportunities. They are the liaison between the Zenda team and client stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS for a Zenda DELIVERY MANAGER POSITION:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years project/program management experience
  • Strong business acumen, ability to write point-of-views and business cases/justifications
  • Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects for multiple clients
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure high-quality product and service
  • Provide direction and support to project team (internally and externally)
  • Develop and manage full-scale project plans, project budgets and resource allocations
  • Be the communication conduit for assumptions, constraints, risks, mitigation plans and overall project deliverable updates with proper notification to all affected parties
  • Manage, maintain and grow direct relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Manage and write all work orders, change orders, projects plans and updates- excellent written communication skills are required
  • Ability to pull reports (resourcing, financial, etc) from company systems and analyze data for recommended delivery changes
  • Direct work experience in client facing project management capacity, consulting experience is desirable
  • Strong planning/organizing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build consensus, influence and lead clients and cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to remain calm in a high pace consultancy environment 
  • Travel to client sites as needed
  • Consistent acknowledgment and appreciation of each team member’s contributions
  • Ability to keep track of lessons learned and sharing those lessons with team members
  • Knack for setting and managing client expectations
  • Understanding of basic revenue models and cost-to-completion projections
  • A general understanding in the areas of system design, research and implementation

EDUCATION

YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST

  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, design or a related field
  • PMP certification or Agile project management training is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future
